Its no surprise that their stunning wedding was published and of course always an honor as the photographer! A big credit must go to to the great talents of Tina of Oh So Fab. Her weddings are always show stoppers with the perfect balance of wow factor and refinement. Mauria and Chris wanted a theme of “Saying goodbye to the war” as Chris was just wrapping up his active duty tour and I think that Tina’s design really captured the spirit of what the bride and Groom where going for.

Of course Mauria and Chris brought all their energy, great style of their own and lots of love to really make the images pop. It was by far one of my favorite bridal sessions of last year. All done right by Liberty State Park. With a stunning New York City backdrop, rich blue skies and just enough “lets rock this” attitude, each image was topping the one before it. The bridal party did their part to keep Mauria and Chris laughing, making for fun, loose portraits of the groomsmena nd the brides maids. The reception followed at the Newark Club. And as the sun set, those blue skies turned violet making for some amazing images during the toasts and dancing images.

As is often the case, superstar second photographer Kenny Pang was by my side getting some of the great images of the day.I often think that the only person who smiles as much as I do at a wedding is Mr. Pang.

I am thrilled to have NJ Bride feature this fabulous wedding! It always makes everyone at Danny Weiss Photo, Inc very happy. Including my two kids.

They must have signed a secret pack with mother nature because the sun was shining on this March day like it was the middle of the summer.

Getting ready was done upstairs at The Royalton. Lauren was kept busy and smiling by her family and friends as they all got ready for the big day. Before we head downstairs so David and Lauren could see each other, we had a few mintues to capture some bridal shots and of course Lauren rocked it!

After a first look viewed by their nearest and dearest, we had a super fun creative session. Followed by an equally fun bridal party shoot. The light was so sweeeeet that everywhere we turned we were blessed with light that must have been shipped directly from the beaches of California. The ceremony and reception were held downstairs. As always I had great second photographer Roman with me. Kaipo from 15 minutes of frame and his team where there shooting video. Working with Roman and Kaipo make for a great day!
