When I walked into Farrah’s apartment along with Christine(we have a tradition of meeting at the Reception Venue and traveling to where the bride is getting ready), Farrah was riding this great wave of anticipation, excitment and probably a bit of nerves. But what Farrah did great was channel all of that into this super positive energy that never waned the whole day and night. Two of my favorite behind the scenes people made Farrah(already beautiful) look stunning Stacey Pitt andSally Duval.
The day started with a very cool ride in a NYC Vintage Cab as we shot around the streets of Manhattan.
They were married at certainly the most unique place I have ever shot, Angel Oresanz. I love the use of color and potential for truly dramatic imagery. Add to that a wedding guest who did not sit down all night(thank in no small part to great the great DJing by David) Rachel was on hand to second shoot and got some amazing pictures!!! and Milestone was on hand shooting video.
When I left at the end of the night I thought to myself that Farrah and Josh had nothing short of a magical night.

January 8th, 2009 at 2:24 pmWhat I LOVE so much about these images is the expressions you captured on the bride’s face(the grooms too), but especially the bride’s…she is so animated…so real…they seem like a couple that planned the marriage more than the ceremony…their expressions are genuine not stoic and serious like so many couples…its not a staged symbol of their union but two people that really enjoy each other…and that’s very cool
