Danielle and Michael pulled off an AMAZING wedding in of all places a sleepaway camp! They were married under a beautiful blue sky at Camp Pontiac in the Berkshires. It was such an honor to document their incredibly unique wedding that was filled with so much love and a whole lotta of laughs.
And now for something a little different: Sit back, relax and enjoy:

Norman Horowitz - Danielle & Michael,
I enjoyed your wedding and I wasn’t there. I am one of the original owners of Camp Pontiac. Part of 50 years of family ownership. I sure looked like a beautiful day. On a site that is no longer owned by me but, I still consider it my land. You walked over a bridge that I built in 1964. Seeing your smiling faces and the beautiuful sky I congratulate you on the concept and pulling it off. Having recently married off one of my daughters last November and considering my concern about weather then I can only imagine how you hoped and prehaps prayed that it will work for you. It apparently did. Congratulations and may the sun always shine brightly on your union.
You photo reached me because I, for reasons above, I have Camp Pontiac on my Google Alert.
LOUISE SHAPIRO - IN 1956 I GOT MY FIRST JOB AS A CAMP COUNSELOR IN CAMP PONTIAC. I MET MY FUTURE HUSBAND AND HIS FAMILY , WHO WERE THE OWNERS OF THE CAMP, THAT SUMMER. WE HAD 25 BEAUTIFUL YEARS, FILLED WITH LOTS OF LOVE IN CAMP PONTIAC. MY HUSBAND PASSED AWAY IN 1981. I WISH DANIELLE AND MICHAEL THE SAME HAPPINESS THAT WE HAD. CAMP PONTIAC IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO START OFF A LIFE TOGETHER.
