I love going out to the beach and shooting. It’s probably my favorite place on Earth to be. Christina and Ryan were great, full of trust, really letting me do my thing. The pictures below are everything I try to do at a shoot–create images that are sexy, fun and intimate:

I want to be Liz and Andy when I grow up! I hope that does not come out the wrong way, I think they are only like two years older then me. But they are just so comfortable with themselves, it was rather soothing to be around them. No doubt they are probably the “coolest” parents around.

So nice to get out of the city and breathe some fresh air. Who knew I would find it in NJ :0)

I am still looking for that bus in Central Park (Private Joke)

It rained, it poured, they made out…

Mei and Gene just moved to the left coast so I’m glad I was able to meet up with them for a bit before New York loses another sweet couple to the sun and fun of California (sigh). Of course they’re back for their wedding which I can’t wait for at The Ligthhouse

Ayelet and Ari brought me back to Central Park where Ari had sang a song for Ayelet in the beginning of their courtship(I like the word courtship– gonna try to single handedly bring it back). It was a natural choice to go there for their engagement pictures. My challenge is to find something unique about the park each time. I want the images to reflect and represent the couple and not “just another shoot in the park.” I love how these came out:

PS – Can’t wait for their wedding later this month at Oheka
Jennifer and Peter are getting married at The Foundry later this year. Whenever a couple chooses The Foundry, it immediately tells me something about them. Unique, off-beat, clear vision, creative, artistic are a few words that come to mind. So I was not surprised at all when Jennifer said “sure” when I said I wanted to shoot the pics at one of my favorite places on earth, Coney Island.
By the way, for those who are waiting, the “other Coney Island shoot” it’s coming along nicely and should be done soon. In the meantime, lovin’ these:

As promised, here are some of the spreads from Joon and Michelle’s wedding guest sign-in book:
