Well, my last post summed it all up. Adrienne was such a good sport. Her veil was 100 years old and her dress…well let’s just say this probably was not what Vera Wang had in mind when she created this dress!

Adrienne and Vince were kind enough to answer the “Bride Wanted” post on my blog a few months back. I did not photograph their wedding, the very talented team at Aga Images documented their day.
We met up at one of my favorite locations, which I also happen to keep secret. Adrienne and Vincent have been sworn to secrecy. It’s where I got engaged and luckily does not seem to be known by many photographers, so I can show up and not worry about 15 other shoots all around me (I remember when DUMBO was not so crowded…sigh). Now the Trash the Dress craze was never my thing and we certainly did not set out to do that kind of shoot…but then the sky opened and it poured and poured and poured. So this will be a two-part post. Today is the shoot we set out to do (but only had about 30 minutes for) and tomorrow: “and then came the rain.”

Raquel was so committed to getting awesome pictures, she went on a photo safari to Montclair to take cool pics of places we could shoot around. That and the Cherry Red Mini-Cooper made for a fun shoot out. After that, we were off to Stonehouse at Sterling Ridge for a great reception with perfect weather!
Thanks as always to the great Scott for shooting along my side.

Allison and Frank hands down win the sweet and cute wedding couple of the year award…and it’s only July! They were just smiles from the moment I put my camera on them until the moment I said good night…
We shot at a park in New Rochelle and than late at night snuck onto some pier of what might have been an abandoned house or just a really lazy homeowner when it comes to upkeep. :)

I shoot lots and lots of NYC weddings and I do love my urban chic weddings. But there is something so refreshing about shooting a tent wedding in a family home that I could not wait for Amanda and Mario’s Big Day. Now the pressure was on as Amanda and Mario run the very successful blog SOMETIMES DAILY. But they are awesome and the setting was stunning and thankfully, we already had some time to get to know each other when they flew me out to LA to do their engagement pictures.
Thanks as always to Roman for shooting alongside me. And a big YOU ROCK to Sally Duvall for doing a spectacular job on makeup.

Kristen and Seth..such a sweet couple, so worth the drive to The City of Brotherly Love (anyone know why they call it that?) to document their marriage and love.
