In order to get into the mood for Annie and Tony’s super duper awesomest wedding, I cranked up the radio and blasted Springsteen as I headed “down the shore.” Yes that was me playing air drums to ThunderRoad.
I loved everything about their wedding, perfect day, AMAZING VENUE – Bonnet Island Estate (note to readers: I would LOVE to go back and shoot another wedding there..so spread the word) and a couple that was really into getting great pictures.
Once again, I got to work with Ray at Timless Films. Whenever we work together it always feels like this great collaboration and the results are always KICK ASS. Also along was my good friend and great photographer Scott who has an amazing eye and always captures very touching moments that adds to the coverage.

I spent the morning doing a Triathlon.

I imagine that Frank must have fallen head over heels for Janet in about one second. When I met with Janet prior to the wedding she swept into the room with this spectacular energy (I am pretty sure the theme from Gone with the Wind started playing) and a great smile, and I was charmed. Christine and I kept e-mailing each other that we could not wait for Janet’s wedding!
What I found so special about Janet and Frank’s wedding was the authenticity of their love and their admiration for one another. It made me go home and give my wife a big sloppy kiss!
As always Christine kept the day running with great aplomb.

I felt like I was in a Matt Damon/ Ben Affleck movie when I headed a little past Boston to document Toni and Jason’s wedding. Now , being from Brooklyn, I know a thing or two about accents…but wow, they don’t mess around up in Massachusetts :)
What I loved most about the wedding was the feeling of closeness I sensed from all of Toni and Jason’s friends. I could see them all hangingĀ and rockin it out 30 years from now just as they did on the wedding day!

Not sure what happened to the images, some weird cyber-occurrence. But here they are again:

I love Joon and Michelle! They are a fun, silly, sexy, great couple. We had such a good time during their engagement shoot, and I knew their wedding was going to be perfect. They had their ceremony and reception at the Yale Club, and I swear I felt smarter when I walked out of there at the end of the night. The reception was tons of fun! Shots and shots and well, more shots. My kind of party! Had a hard time picking my favorites:

Ayelet and Ari brought me back to Central Park where Ari had sang a song for Ayelet in the beginning of their courtship(I like the word courtship– gonna try to single handedly bring it back). It was a natural choice to go there for their engagement pictures. My challenge is to find something unique about the park each time. I want the images to reflect and represent the couple and not “just another shoot in the park.” I love how these came out:

PS – Can’t wait for their wedding later this month at Oheka
