Hi Everyone,

I am back and can’t wait to start posting images again..some personal and some from my latest weddings.

In the meantime, please take a minute to consider signing the petition that is below. It is against a requirement that photographers and/or their clients get a permit to shoot ANYWHERE in NYC for more then one half an hour or in some cases 10 minutes.

This will directly affect weddings photography here in the city.

Lauren and Dan were so much fun to be around. We met up on a very busy day at the South Street Seaport for their engagement shoot. They are getting married at the uber-cool Angel Orensanz in September and I can’t wait to get in there and shoot! I have no doubt that their wedding will be, well, FABULOUS as they have the fabulous ladies of OH SO FAB planning their day.

It’s a wonder Lauren still wants me to be her photographer after I accidentally kicked her wallet into the Hudson! Now she claims it was not her wallet, but a lipstick holder, but I think she is just trying to make me feel better ;)

We walked around the Seaport and then wandered off to some side streets.

I think I am now an official Dominican! Last week I spent a fun filled four days with Kemely, Philip and both their families and friends at the beautiful Riu Buchata in the Dominican Republic.  They had a stunning beach side wedding, complete with 250 of their nearest and dearest. Kemely’s amazing family helped turn a very quaint beachfront into a gorgeous setting for both ceremony and reception.

There were so many memorable moments, but I don’t think I have ever seen a Hora as energetic as theirs. It must have went on for twenty minutes with calls for “Encore, encore” for a third go around.

After a beautiful ceremony, everyone ate and danced and drank the night away. Both families were so welcoming and I was honored to be part of the festivities.

Well for those who were up yesterday morning at around 6:30am there was a segment on the latest in wedding trends on CBS..I am happy to say they used four of my images for the segment….very cool.  As for a link, have not been able to find the piece on the Internet..if I do, I will post it here.

What a beautiful place to get married! Rebecca and Jim had a lovely, unique wedding at the Troutbeck Inn in Amenia, NY.

They surrounded themselves with family, friends and lots and lots of kids :) Rebecca’s father was the Rabbi and they had a ceremony steeped in both meaning and old world tradition.

I was honored to be part of the day and loved getting out of the city for some fresh air.

Well once again, it’s not actually me but my images. On Tuesday at 6:20 am (set your TIVO’s) The CBS Early Morning Show will be doing a segment with the popular and growing ever more popular Gina La Morte, better known as The Style Doctor

Gina is a fan of my work and used images of mine in her last appearance several months ago.

I think I will be able to link to the actual broadcast by Wednesday…

Brie and Brian got married at an amazing church on the beautiful campus of the College of Mount St. Vincent. Luckily they brought back some of their laid-back California vibe so when our planned shoot in SOHO went out the window, Hells Kitchen became the perfect back drop.

The reception was at the very cool Loft 11 and a big shout out to Christine from Excuisite Affairs for most excellent wedding planning and a very cool candy table :) .
